Purpose of the report

The report aims to raise awareness amongst those working in the cultural sectors as to the relationship between culture and climate change and the implications of climate change to these sectors in the West Midlands.  The report includes new ideas of how to use the cultural sectors to raise public awareness of climate adaption within the West Midlands.

Relevance to the region

This report focuses on the projected climate change scenarios for the region and how this may affect the cultural sectors. It also discusses what could be done by those working in the cultural sectors to help to reduce their carbon emissions and to safe guard from the possible effects of climate change.

We like that how this report described the effects that climate and weather have on the region and the threats which climate change poses in the future in a way that is accessible to non-scientists.
