Purpose of the report
This report monitors how the West Midlands is progressing against the targets laid out in our 2030 Sustainability Roadmap. SWM’s role is to ensure that we are on track to meet the various targets and to ensure that we work with our members, networks and stakeholders to help build on best practice and provide solutions to challenges where progress is slow.
This is the first time we have monitored the new Roadmap and it the below table summarises progress. It should also be noted that most data reflects the situation prior to the Covid-19 pandemic; we anticipate that the various lockdowns will have an impact on future reports when 2020-21 data become available.
