Encraft Passivhaus and Low Carbon Building: Pioneering 2016 Standards Conference
This event prepared delegates to meet the 2016 zero carbon standards by understanding the most effective approach to delivering the standards for new domestic and non-domestic ‘zero carbon’ buildings and the challenge of existing stock, making the business case add up, and ensuring stakeholders work together to deliver the required outcomes.

Under the Weather – Improving health, wellbeing and resilience in a changing climate (version2)
The aim of this toolkit is to assist Health and Wellbeing Boards (HWBs) in integrating climate change adaptation into the local health economy. It also highlights how Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNA) and Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategies (JHWS) can be used to achieve this aim for the benefit of communities.

In 2012-13 the West Midlands Climate Adaptation Partnership, Sustainability West Midlands (SWM) and Staffordshire Business Environment Network (Sben) undertook the second year of the ‘Building Business Resilience in a Changing Climate’ project with the Environment Agency. The main aims of the project were to build on the successful work of the pilot phase and continue to raise the profile of business in the West Midlands by delivering in depth climate change resilience workshops, promoting good practice examples, and working directly with businesses and their supply chains. The Economics of Low Carbon Cities: A Mini-Stern Review for Birmingham and the Wider Urban Region
This report reviews the cost and carbon effectiveness of a wide range of low carbon options that could be applied at a local level in households, industry, commerce and transport to expand the low carbon economy. It then goes on to explore the scope for their deployment and the associated investment needs.
