Purpose of the presentation
These presentations were given on 19 July at a celebration event for the Top 50 Green Leaders in the West Midlands who were chosen through our competition. Jonathon Porritt, Forum for the Future; Waheed Saleem, Lunar Society; Peter Woodward, SWM associate and Dr. Simon Slater, SWM were the speakers at the event. The purposes of these presentations is to explain who SWM is, to discuss why we held the competition, to discuss the achievements of the Green Leaders and to start discussions on the potential activities of the group.
Relevance to the region
The Green Leaders work across the West Midlands in a range of sectors and have been brought together to network and share ideas on what the group could do over the coming year to contribute to a more sustainable West Midlands.
