Towards the end of 2022, SWM and the Environment Agency published a series of documents that aim to help a range of organisations adapt to climate change. This follows a year of numerous extreme weather events, not least the record breaking summer heatwave.
This event, attended by a cross-sector of our members and connections, explored these resources in more detail. They include a guidance document for businesses on how they can prepare for and adapt to climate change and case studies showcasing practical examples for local authorities. The event also looked forward to the rest of 2023 and showcased what further resources are to come, including those focusing on climate change adaptation for the NHS and agricultural sector.
