Sustainability West Midlands is a not-for-profit organisation which has over the last 10 years, established itself as the sustainability adviser for public, private and third sector leaders in the region.

Organisations pay a sliding-scale annual membership fee according to a their size, from just £50 for the smallest enterprises, up to £1,000 for large private sector companies. In return members have access to strategic, practical and profile-raising benefits including a place at the SWM annual conference, free use of meeting rooms at our central Birmingham offices, and a wide range of networking and promotional opportunities.

SWM welcomes applications from all types of private, public and third sector organisations based in the region that are willing to actively contribute to achieving our 2020 vision of a West Midlands that is economically productive, environmentally sustainable and socially just.

Consultancy services

We offer a range of consultancy services, as we are an independent organisation we can advise you on your sustainability strategy providing advice on energy, waste, resilience and other areas of sustainability. We run workshops influencing internal and external stakeholders.

As a not-for-profit organisation, all our consultancy fees go into making the West Midlands a more sustainable place.

Training and advice service

We provide a range of training and advice solutions from events, to sustainability reviews and benchmarking. Visit our ‘projects and networks’ page to find out about our current projects or contact us to discuss how we can help.
