The Event

‘Simple Sustainability for Small Businesses’ is a 2hr, interactive, online workshop which aims to; demystify sustainability, empower you to measure and understand your impact (in line with UK government guidance), create a simple action plan and equip you to talk about your sustainability journey with confidence.

• Hands on tuition to walk you through the process of measuring your business’s environmental impact using your own data (optional), in line with UK government guidance. 
• A clear action plan to reduce the environmental impact of your business going forward. 
• Tailored sustainability policies that keep your organisation on track and demonstrate better practice externally. 
• Confidence to communicate your business’s sustainability journey to stakeholders. 

The format of the session allows you to learn alongside other small business owners, and provides the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences in a supportive space. 

We will provide you with a vault of files for use within the session and beyond: 

• A tailored Excel worksheet that we will work through to help you create your environmental baseline and calculate your carbon footprint. This can also be used to track your progress going forward. 
• Outline policy document(s) for you to adapt and share. 
• Suggested strategies for reducing your business impact. 

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about making meaningful progress that positions your organisation as one which takes sustainability seriously and is able to communicate action with confidence.
