Alice works as Head of Environment and Climate Change at Sanctuary, one of the largest providers of social housing and care across England and Scotland.

Profile

Alice is an environmental practitioner (PIEMA) and has worked at Sanctuary Housing since 2019, where she has worked to found and develop the organisation’s approach to sustainability. Prior to this, Alice’s passion for climate change mitigation was sparked at the University of Warwick, where she worked as a Sustainability Analyst.

Alice is qualified in greenhouse gas accounting and specialises in corporate decarbonisation strategies. She has also led on a number of successful, high-profile retrofit funding bids across Sanctuary’s social housing portfolio. Through her role with SWM, Alice is keen to support SWM in its work on climate mitigation and adaptation, ensuring the region is ready to meet the challenges of a warmer planet.
