The Event

We’re excited to invite you to our final gathering of the year – the Members Mingle, taking place on Tuesday 3 December. It’s a chance to come together, reconnect, and celebrate the power of our community as we round off another year of shared progress in sustainability.

This event is all about connection – meeting familiar faces, welcoming new ones, and discovering how, together, we can tackle the big challenges ahead. You’ll have the chance to chat with fellow members who are driving real change and offering fresh solutions to circular economy challenges across sectors.

We’ll also be joined by experts in sustainability best practice, who’ll share inspiring stories and practical insights from across the region and beyond. Expect to leave with new ideas, renewed energy, and a few actionable takeaways to bring back to your organisation.

Whether you’re keen to build new partnerships, explore collaborative opportunities, or simply catch up with peers who share your vision for a more sustainable future, the Members Mingle is designed to spark meaningful conversations and lasting connections.

• AGM Highlights: Gain insights into SWM’s achievements, future plans, and key initiatives

• Refreshments and Lunch: Enjoy delicious refreshments and mingle in a relaxed setting.

Aims

By attending the Members Mingle and AGM you will:

1. Hear from speakers highlighting the state of progress on climate action in the region with details to be announced in coming weeks.
2. Be provided with an engaging networking opportunity to share knowledge and best practice supporting SWM’s Roadmap to 2030.
3. Hear from SWM on our reflections on the last year and future plans to increase the value of your membership, and deliver the formal business of the Annual General Meeting:
   • a. Receive Directors’ Report and Annual Accounts for 2024-25
   • b. Ratify new Directors and members appointed by the Board since the previous AGM on 03 December 2024
