The Foundation is looking to support charities with strong youth leadership. Work can include practical environmental projects, carbon reduction initiatives, education and awareness work, advocacy, or campaigning activities.
About The Energy Saving Trust Foundation
Children and young people care passionately about the climate emergency. They want to take action, but they often don’t know where to start. This is especially true for young people experiencing inequality.
The Energy Saving Trust Foundation aims to address this.
They are funding youth-led projects in the UK to empower young people experiencing inequality to take meaningful action on the climate emergency, focusing on the issues that matter to them most.
The first pilot round of funding is open to charities based and working in the West Midlands with up to £40,000 available.
Applications for grant funding for organisations working throughout the UK are due to open later in 2023.
