Up to £2000 available for communities with a project idea that will help to improve the environment or to support the local community to bounce back from the pandemic. Through Veolia’s Recycling Fund for Communities, you could receive a cash boost, in kind resources or staff volunteers to help bring your idea to life. The fund supports grassroots projects that protect the environment and encourage people to do the right thing with their waste. This year they have expanded the funding criteria to include projects that help communities to bounce back from the pandemic. Veolia uses Spacehive to help you create, fund and deliver your project idea and has a total of £50,000 available in total to give for grants for project ideas.
Criteria
To be considered, the project must demonstrate one of the following:
- Its use of recycled, reused or reclaimed materials
- Its ability to protect and preserve resources
- Its enhancement of local environments
- How it will help the community group to bounce back from the pandemic.
