ConsensusPower’s mission is to establish a platform using modern technology and new business models to:
- Enable renewable generators, consumers and prosumers to trade directly with each other on a highly cost-efficient basis, using existing infrastructure such as transmission and distribution networks.
- Facilitate efficient funding solutions for clean energy assets, allowing local stakeholders to invest alongside national crowdfunding and institutional funding sources.
- Empower energy service providers to engage with and deliver services to local energy markets in an efficient and scalable manner.
- Provide an effective framework to support local non-profit initiatives aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of all members of society and the natural environment.
