Fit for the Future Network

Fit for the Future (FFTF) is a solution-sharing network for organisations that want to become more sustainable, reduce their energy bills and lower the impact they have on the environment.

The network works on the principle that, more often than not, the solutions are already out there. By tapping into the collective knowledge of hundreds of environmental practitioners from more than eighty organisations, their members are able to find solutions quickly and achieve greater success. To sum it up, “Collaboration is Key”.

FFTF Network operates across the UK with more than 100 land and property owning organisations within the membership. Within the West Midlands, many of their member organisations, such as National Trust, RSPB and English Heritage, have sites within the area. These being predominantly visitor attractions to heritage or conservation sites, such as Croome Court in Worcestershire.

On their membership with SWM, they say:

“FFTF is aligned with SWM’s sustainability priorities, primarily energy, buildings and transport, of which we organise events, site visits, workshops and share best practice case studies/resources with our members.”

SWM have coordinated events with FFTF before and the team are a pleasure to work with!

Our contacts at FFTF Network are Fergus Rolfe and Laura Harbard.
