Businesses, town and parish councils and community groups based in Stratford-on-Avon are eligible for a free climate adaptation plan and grant funding towards implementing various actions.
Introduction
SWM is working with member Stratford-on-Avon Council to find ten organisations to engage in our new climate resilience programme. These organisations will be provided with the opportunity to have a Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan produced for them and will receive £10,000 in grant funding to begin the implementation of the Action Plan.

Who can Apply?
The following organisations will all be considered for participation in this programme, based in the Stratford-on-Avon district:
- Town and Parish Councils
- Formally constituted community and charity groups, including sports clubs
- Independent businesses
How to Apply:
If you are interested in participating in this programme, please ensure you can fulfil the obligations set out in the programme’s parameters as set out in the Guidance Document. The Grant Agreement also provides an indication as to what will be required to receive and spend the grant funding.
If you meet the Eligibility Criteria, please fill out the Expression Of Interest Form and return it to climate.emergency@stratford-dc.gov.uk by 5pm on the 23 March 2026. The council will be in touch with further information the week beginning 30 March 2026.
