Purpose of the reports
Sustainability West Midlands (SWM) is currently coordinating and managing the latest round of the Local Authority Low Carbon Management Programme on behalf of Improvement and Efficiency West Midlands (IEWM). As part of this programme we have developed and used a good practice benchmarking framework which allows local authorities to assess their progress and performance in addressing climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation, and the move to a low carbon economy.
SWM undertook the benchmarking exercise in 2013 and have produced a high level summary report covering activity across the West Midlands, along with individual reports for each local authority which can be downloaded below.
