Our Roadmap to 2030The Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP) is a non-profit, mission driven organisation, with an ever-growing membership alliance of forward-thinking companies and institutions from across the built environment sector.
Credible sustainability standards are an essential tool for continuous improvement of the built environment. Our focus is upon product standards such as Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), eco-labels, and health labels and with how these standards are valued in ‘balanced-score card’ approaches such as BREEAM, LEED and WELL.
ASBP is the UK representative of the association natureplus. The natureplus eco-label sets stringent sustainability criteria for the accreditation of construction products, with a focus on material sourcing, health & wellbeing aspects and embodied carbon, amongst others.
