The Event
ASBP Reuse Summit 2025 brings together practitioners, contractors, and thought leaders to explore how material reuse can help reduce carbon, strengthen supply chains, and mitigate environmental risks.
Now in its third year, the summit is part of ASBP’s ongoing Reuse Now campaign, and this year focused on the intersection of reuse, risk mitigation, and resilience.
Attendees engaged in sessions covering:
- Risk & Resilience: How contractors are embedding circular strategies to reduce risk, meet compliance, and future-proof operations.
- Structural Reuse: Real vs. perceived risks of reusing materials like steel, timber, and concrete – with practical insights from across the sector.
- People & Behaviours: The cultural shifts needed to support large-scale reclamation and reuse, including the role of early engagement, education, and collaboration.
The event highlighted the urgent need to move reuse and circularity out of the sustainability silo and into core business strategy – paving the way for a lower-carbon, more resource-efficient built environment.
