The Event
With increasing pressure on building new homes, particularly on brownfield sites, the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) has worked with leading experts and practitioners to develop guidance on how they can deliver compensation for impacts upon valued brownfield/open mosaic habitats. The introduction of these guidelines is particularly timely as we see further consultation on elements of the BNG system including brownfield sites.
Mike Webb, Senior Natural Capital Programme Manager at West Midlands Combined Authority, will be speaking about the work they have done on this important topic.
