The Event

We’re excited to invite you to our final gathering of the year – the Members Mingle, taking place on Wednesday 03 December. It’s a chance to come together, reconnect, and celebrate the power of our community as we round off another year of shared progress in sustainability.

This event is all about connection – meeting familiar faces, welcoming new ones, and discovering how, together, we can tackle the big challenges ahead. You’ll have the chance to chat with fellow members who are driving real change and offering fresh solutions to circular economy challenges across sectors.

Whether you’re keen to build new partnerships, explore collaborative opportunities, or simply catch up with peers who share your vision for a more sustainable future, the Members Mingle is designed to spark meaningful conversations and lasting connections.

Here’s what members can expect from the session:

• Presentations from SWM and our members: Listen to thought-provoking talks from renowned experts in the field.
• Online networking: Connect with cross-sector industry leaders, professionals, all of whom are fellow SWM members!
• AGM Highlights: Gain insights into SWM’s achievements, future plans, and key initiatives

Aims

By attending the Members Mingle and AGM you will:

1. Hear from speakers highlighting the state of progress on climate action in the region.
2. Be provided with an engaging networking opportunity to share knowledge and best practice supporting SWM’s Roadmap to 2030.
3. Hear from SWM on our reflections on the last year and future plans to increase the value of your membership, and deliver the formal business of the Annual General Meeting:
   • a. Receive Directors’ Report and Annual Accounts for 2024-25
   • b. Ratify new Directors and members appointed by the Board since the previous AGM on 03 December 2024
