SWM Roadmap to 2030 webinar – midway point progress update

The Event

Launched at the start of 2020, SWM developed a new Roadmap to 2030 to help us monitor the progress the West Midlands region is making against various sustainability priorities and metrics. It’s a bit like a regional version of the Sustainable Development Goals. 

It was developed in collaboration with a range of experts and SWM members, alongside a perusal of relevant literature and policy. The Roadmap has been continuously monitored ever since, with changes being made to reflect up to date policy and progress.

As far as we know, we remain the only region in the UK that monitors sustainability in this way.

We have now reached the midway point of the Roadmap’s lifetime. This webinar is being run to help our stakeholders and members understand what the progress looks like, where there are issues with data, what the challenges and opportunities are and how you can help.

• Learn more about the Roadmap to 2030 and its purpose
• Understand the progress we are making against various metrics and the reasons behind this
• Ask questions and offer support in the Roadmap’s development going forwards
