Social Enterprise UK’s (SEUK) vision is of a more equal society and their belief is that social enterprise is our best chance of creating a fairer world and protecting the planet.
Their vision is of a more equal society and their belief is that social enterprise is our best chance of creating a fairer world and protecting the planet. Their mission is to achieve that through creating a favourable environment in which social enterprises can thrive.
SEUK is the West Midlands’ leading membership network for a range of social enterprises, third sector organisations, sector supporters and partners. SEUK’s primary purpose is to act as an advocate for social enterprise so that awareness, understanding, visibility, sustainability and growth of the sector is improved.
Today, SEUK:
- Run campaigns such as Social Value 2032 and the Buy Social Corporate Challenge and also run the Social Enterprise Places accreditation programme.
- Open doors to key stakeholders and run events, connect networks and campaign on your behalf.
- Amplify your impact and work with you to grow the social economy.
- Work cross sector and their membership includes universities, local authorities, housing associations, big business, social enterprises and charities.
SWM and SEUK have clear synergies and our reciprocal membership makes sense in supporting our objectives for the region. We have been members of each others organisations for many years.
Our primary contact is Peter Holbrook, Chief Executive.
