We are pleased to share that our members, Kahawa Roots LTD, are currently recruiting two Traceability Platform Developer Interns.
The opportunity is open exclusively to recent graduates and students of University of Birmingham, offering an exciting chance with little or no professional experience, but for those who have a strong passion for sustainability, innovation, and building real solutions.
Kahawa Roots LTD is developing a traceability platform designs to strengthen transparency and environmental accountability within global coffee supply networks.
The system aims to support:
- Improved supply chain transparency
- Data-driven ethical sourcing
- Climate and deforestation accountability
- Greater visibility and empowerment for smallholder farmers
While the platform will initially be used internally by Kahawa Roots LTD, it is being designed with future scalability in mind, with long-term pans to expand into a traceability-as-a-service model for wider food and beverage supply chain.
This opportunity is particularly suited to individuals who demonstrate:
- A strong interest in sustainability and ethical supply chains
- Technical curiosity and initiative
- Building something real for start to finish
- An interest in working closely with founders in an early-stage environment
