Event

This event, convened by SWM in partnership with the Environment Agency, showcased what good looks like in terms of projects and regeneration activities that have put nature-based solutions at their heart, improving resilience to climate change while also enhancing biodiversity, boosting the local economy and contributing to health and wellbeing outcomes.

The event included a series of presentations reflecting projects that have achieved the above and there was then a site visit of the area in Stoke which has benefitted from investment via the SUNRISE project to show what such activity looks like in practice.

The event was attended by a range of organisations from across England who were interested or involved in similar projects, including local authorities, third sector organisations and universities that cover a variety of sectors including environment, biodiversity, planning, health and economic growth.
