Purpose of the report
This forms part of the wider SWM sustainability support programme for the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) which includes using the SWM Board as an independent cross-sector advisory body for the WMCA. The purpose of this report is to provide an update on SWM progress on integrating sustainability within the WMCA and capture the resulting discussion and advice of the SWM Board on the meeting of 28 June 2016 . This advice will form the basis of our update to the WMCA Programme Board on 8 July 2016 as part of our ongoing support and research.
