Profile
Ben has worked as a sustainability professional in local government for 20 years and joined the board as a Non-Executive Director in January 2025. He has experience delivering a broad range of environmental strategies and projects including corporate and countywide carbon reduction programmes, affordable warmth and building retrofit projects, electric vehicle and active travel projects, waste collection and disposal contract and natural environment projects including trees, National Landscapes and nutrient pollution.
Recognised as one of SWM’s Green Leaders in 2017, he and his teams have also won numerous local government awards and is also a voluntary Director of Pomona Solar Co-operative, Herefordshire’s largest community energy project.
