People's Emergency Briefing

The Event

What’s happening with climate and nature and what does it mean for everyday life in the UK?

From extreme weather and food security to rising costs and health impacts, the connection between our changing climate and daily life has never been clearer. But what does the latest evidence actually say, and why does it matter to us.

Join MAC Birmingham for the People’s Emergency Briefing, an eye opening film (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden and a range of voices from across the UK. After the film there will be a short open discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.

We’re pleased to share that Morgan, our Project Manager, will be taking part in the panel discussion. Duration includes trailers, adverts, and any Q&A / panel. For events such as NT Live, Colour Box, and Reel & Meal, there will be minimal advertising.

MAC’s cinema programme has been generously supported by BFI Film Audience Network and Film Hub Midlands.
