Automotive Transformation Fund Expression of Interest: Round 17

The Automotive Transformation Fund (ATF) is an Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) programme that aims to establish a competitive and sustainable UK supply chain. It offers a share of up to £1billion of funding for capital and associated industrial research projects.

ATF is dedicated to supporting the large-scale industrialisation of an electrified supply chain. The programme will support strategically important capital and R&D investments in the UK and will begin by focusing on companies involved in:

• Batteries including cells (’gigafactories’)
• Electric machines and drives
• Power electronics
• Fuel cells
• Upstream supply chain for any of the above
• Recycling any aspect of the above

This will be to support the industrialisation of a high value, electrified automotive supply at scale in the UK. The latest EOI stage is now open for applications until 12 January 2022.
