Smart Energy Monitoring – sben & Staffordshire County Council

Smart Energy Monitoring funding will deploy sub-meters across eligible Staffordshire sites to monitor and measure the energy consumption and performance of specific equipment within a building. This can be used on assets such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, chiller plant, cooling tower pumps, motors, and various manufacturing equipments. The Carbon Trust states that metering provides energy savings of 10%. For organisations with high energy consumption, sub-metering helps identify areas of inefficiency to enable end users to take action that can save a further 30% on their bills. Sub-metering can also be used to educate staff and create behavioural changes that will enhance your business’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) profile. Smart Energy Monitoring program is funded by Staffordshire County Council. 50% of match funding will be provided to eligible organisations/businesses for the temporary installation of Smart Meters.
