Our Roadmap to 2030SWM Member, Birmingham Botanical Gardens are currently advertising three new roles!
The Gardens are an independent charity who are regulated by the Charity Commission. Their charitable objectives are to further public education in botany, horticulture and to encourage and provide facilities for scientific study and research and to maintain and preserve gardens, grounds, buildings and land in or about the City of Birmingham.
Engagement Assistant
This important new post has been created to support delivery of the £19m ‘Growing Our Green Heritage’ project, which is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Engagement Assistant will contribute to the delivery of their innovative and developing Engagement and Learning programme, nurturing inspiring opportunities for existing and new audiences to connect and engage with the Gardens.
The closing date is 30 September 2025 at midday. Interviews will be held on 14 October 2025, online or in-person at the Gardens.
Volunteer Manager
This important new post has been created to support delivery of our £19m ‘Growing Our Green Heritage’ project, which is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Volunteer Manager will lead the development of an exciting, innovative, best-practice volunteer programme at the Gardens, working to engage both existing and new audiences.
The closing date is 7 October 2025 at midday. Interviews are planned for 21 October 2025.
Project Administrative Assistant
This important new post has been created to support delivery of our £19m ‘Growing Our Green Heritage’ project, which is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Project Administrative Assistant will contribute to delivering an efficient office administrative system, alongside providing administrative support to the Chair, the Board of Trustees and its Committees, the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team.
The closing date is 28 September 2025, at midday. Interviews are planned for 21 October 2025.
