The Event

Broken electrical items? Why not bring them back to life!

A Repair Café, sponsored by Veolia, where community members can bring broken electrical items and work alongside skilled volunteers to fix them. This free, hands-on event is all about learning, sharing skills, and promoting sustainable living.

Booking is essential.

Repair Cafés are all about:

  • Fixing things together
  • Learning how repairs work
  • Reducing waste and extending the life of our belongings

What We Can Fix

  • Basic repairs that don’t require new parts
  • Simple maintenance tasks
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Reattaching, resoldering, or adjusting existing components

What We Cannot Fix

  • Items needing replacement parts (unless you bring them)
  • Devices with significant internal damage
  • Smashed phone screens (unless you bring a correct replacement screen)

Tips for Your Visit

  • Items should be reasonably clean
  • Bring power cables or charged batteries for electronic items
  • If you know a specific part is needed, bring it with you
  • Be prepared to stay and watch the repair – it’s a shared learning experience
