After completing a degree in Sociology and Theology at the University of Leeds Claire came back to Birmingham and began her career working for various charities before moving into the private sector after starting a family.
Claire has over 20 years’ experience in business support, office and project management and working for an SME has allowed her to hone a variety of skills in other areas such as HR, health and wellbeing and of course sustainability. What started as a personal passion has become a key part of her role as the business support manager at Whistle PR, a Midlands PR agency, as they now offer ESG communications consultancy and are committed to the West Midlands Net Zero Pledge. Claire is also involved in her local litter picking group and works with her son’s school on eco initiatives for the pupils.
Claire is a proud brummie and enjoys exploring her city, spending time with her family, reading and listening to history podcasts!
