The event

The Trees & Design Action Group (TDAG), the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research (BIFoR) will host a joint workshop on valuing trees and other green infrastructure in the urban environment. In recent years, there has been a rapid increase in the number of decision-making tools available for this purpose. The workshop will provide practitioners with an overview of the tools available, and the contexts in which they are most appropriate, ultimately to increase their usage, and therefore increase or preserve the amount of trees and green infrastructure in our urban areas. The tool developers will be available during the day for questions and comments.
