Sima Gonsai Films (SGF) is an award-winning independent video production company based in Birmingham. The company specialises in creating dynamic and engaging short films responding to climate change, social and cultural history.
Creative director Sima Gonsai is a Midlands based artist-filmmaker, producer and director and has delivered film for 2012 Olympics, Arts Council England, Creative England, The Space, BFI Network, Sky Arts, Commonwealth Games and BBC Arts. Her creative work has screened to international audiences, most recently at COP27 Egypt.
SGF collaborates with universities, communities, arts and cultural organisations to tell the global climate story and produces documentary, dancefilm and videography to capture climate research, events and initiatives.
